Author's Note

During my internship with The Shawnee Mission Post, I was exposed to a different form of news writing: the Axois method. This style conveys news in a faster, more degistible way by incorpoating bullet points rather than longform story telling. It was a challenge to adjust to this form of writing at first, especially since writing 500 word-plus stories is my bread and butter. After working with it for a while, I can confidently say that this new style of writing is the way to convey news especially with a teen-based audience.
